Drawings often has a special status in the works of an artist. For its first participation in TAF, Odile Ouizeman Gallery invites you to meet around a dialogue between the works on paper of Enzo Certa and Alexandre Carin.
The drawing here is a fragile support very permeable to immediate emotions, hesitations, doubts or impulses, to give free rein to the intimate.
Enzo Certa presents a series of drawings around the idea of collage, like childrens' drawings which include a more intuitive narration, in the form of a tale or close to cave drawings.Alexandre Carin's sketchbooks give us moments, freeze frames, where color radiates so that the lines unfold and give birth to figures whose fragility and strength collide
