Contemporary Art Space Maudi is an artist-run not-for-profit organization based in Tbilisi.
Liza Zhvania, Lado Shonia and Dimitri Eristavi founded MAUDI in 2019 with an idea of creating a platform for local and international participants to experiment with exhibition making, music and performance art. Located in a former factory in the industrial district of Didube, MAUDI contributes to decentralization of the capital’s art scene by placing it within the busy industrial compound composed of workshops and building material suppliers, surrounded by the bazaar and transportation knot. The space of MAUDI consists of several interconnected areas - hall serving as a social hub, large exhibition space, performance space, workshop and studio which allows artists to produce works on site.
