Dachi Mindadze

In my art, I seek to navigate the realms of human experience and emotion, creating a visual language that  reflects the complex tapestry of life in the 21st century. I am Dachi Mindadze, a representative of the millennium  generation of artists, and my work delves into the depths of the human psyche, drawing inspiration from Neo-  expressionism and Primitivism.
I did not receive a traditional academic education, but rather, I have embraced a free and unbounded  approach to my craft. Through my distinctive neo-expressionist style, I explore the boundaries of creative  expression, often working with unorthodox mediums such as nut sacks, oil and acrylic paints, and mixed  media. I also employ sculpture, moving images, and art books, giving my art multiple dimensions and  engaging viewers in immersive experiences.
Central to my artistic exploration are themes of identity, social issues, and the rich tapestry of my personal  experiences. My paintings are imbued with symbols and motifs that carry deeper meanings, like animals,  chairs, and human figures. These symbols serve as anchors, leading viewers through a narrative journey of  self-discovery and societal reflection.
I perceive the world as a vast canvas, painted with the raw and sophisticated strokes of my emotions and  imagination. Animals often take center stage in my work, serving as metaphorical representations of  human existential and social dilemmas. They become the vessels for our collective consciousness, telling  stories of our connection to the natural world and the intricate dance between humanity and the  environment.
In my pursuit of authenticity, I abandon predetermined motives, allowing my creativity to flow freely and  unrestrained. Each stroke is a moment of connection with the canvas, a glimpse into the depths of my soul.  Through the lens of my unique visual language, I invite viewers to join me in this journey of introspection,  exploration, and self-discovery.
