Elena Kavtaradze

Elena Kavtaradze is a multidisciplinary artist with formal training in architecture,

currently working within the intersection of craft, art and design.

Her ever-evolving visual vocabulary delves into the physicality of form across various

scales and mediums.

Working with clay in a variety of hand-building techniques, she balances asymmetrical

forms in the three dimensional world. With a background in architecture, Elena's artistic

practice is deeply influenced by her understanding of spatial relationships and design

principles.Having earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the Tbilisi State Academy of

Arts and a Master's degree in Advanced Architecture from the Institute for Advanced

Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona, Elena's multidisciplinary approach is informed by

a diverse range of educational experiences. Her journey as an artist is characterized by

a continual exploration of form, texture, and concept.
