Teona Chanashvili

Biography / Artist Statement

I am an artist, Teona Chanashvili, born and based in Georgia, working as an independent creator. I consider myself as a contemporary figurative painter. Also, for me painting is a form of visual storytelling, I also use mediums like digital art, graphic design, fine art photography. Moving between different mediums and styles allows me to express various emotions and atmospheres through different visual languages and to remain in a constant state of experimentation.

My creative experience extends beyond painting: over the past 15 years, I have created more than a thousand book covers, illustrations, and design projects for publishing. My practice is driven by curiosity, experimentation, and freedom. My works tell stories, convey emotions, and create spaces where viewers experience not only visual beauty but also narrative, inviting them into the world I explore through art.
