Rusudan Maisashvili

Rusudan Maisashvili (b. 1990, Tbilisi, Georgia) studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (TSAA), graduating in Industrial Design, and later continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich (AdBK), Faculty of Fine Arts. She works primarily in drawing and painting. Her practice explores identity, social stereotypes, and human psychology through figurative forms. She lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Artist Statement

The series explores three different states. The figures are shown without narrative or fixed context. They exist as separate forms, grounded in themselves. The works remain open, without guiding interpretation.
