The Mother Pillar | Levan Mindiashvili + invited artists
The Mother Pillar I by Levan Mindiashvili is the first installment of an evolving series of multifunctional public installations. Following its presentation at Tbilisi Art Fair, the project will continue at Kvareli Foundation.
The installation presents Georgian culture as a living and evolving system shaped through relationships between past and present, material and spiritual, individual and collective. Drawing from the traditions of vernacular architecture, the project unfolds as an immersive environment where architecture, language, sound, design, visual art, and fashion converge into a shared structure.
Built as a public platform for dialogue, performances, screenings, and sound activations, The Mother Pillar expands the idea of polyphony into a broader cultural model where multiple voices, disciplines, and media coexist.
