Kaha Gvelesiani

Kaha Gvelesiani was born in Tbilisi in 1960. He graduated in International Affairs at the Tbilisi State University in 1984.
From 1994 he has been one of the directors of Expo Georgia Convention Center, a well known place organizing and hosting international exhibitions and events, of which he is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board. From 1998 to 2003 he was also on the supervisory board of the Central Bank of Georgia. For more than 20 years, Kaha has held key positions in local and international projects. He is a partner and one of the initiators of large reconstruction and development projects, such as Tbilisi Marriott Hotel, Expo Georgia Convention Center, Mtatsminda Funicular Complex, Courtyard by Marriott and Moxy by Marriott. Kaha is also a fine connoisseur of cuisines and wine !
