RITA JANSSEN

Rita Janssen is Belgian and for most of her career held managerial functions in the IT sector. Working for UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) in Palestine (2003-2005) she launched the Ramalah Cultural Palace. In Moscow (2005-2009) and Cairo (2009-3012) she was the driving force behind the cultural activities in the Residence of the Ambassador of the EU, maintaining contacts with the cultural actors and organising artistic events. On her return to Belgium she works as an advisor for international cultural cooperation for BOZAR with countries in the Middle East, Russia and the Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine).
