KATIE MELUA

Georgian-British recording artist, Katie Melua is one of the UK’s highest-selling female recording artists of all time, She has released 7 top 10 studio albums – ‘Call Off The Search’, ‘Piece By Piece’, ‘Pictures’, ‘The House’, ‘Secret Symphony’, ‘Ketevan’ and, most recently, 2016’s self-produced, critically acclaimed ‘In Winter’.  Most recently, Katie toured the UK and Europe with the Gori Women’s Choir, founded in 1970 in the town of Gori, Georgia. Besides music, Katie is an avid reader of literature and poetry, and enjoys the visual arts. A true ‘adrenaline-junkie’ she is also a Guinness World-Record holder for the Deepest Concert, which she performed in the North Sea at a staggering 303 metres below sea level ! Katie was born in Kutaisi, Georgia, in 1984 to Amiran and Tamara Melua, and lives in London with her husband James Toseland – 2 x Super Bike World Champion and musician.
